Does anyone know if it's ok to drink this after the "best to use by" date.  I have about 8 containers that go out of date today.  Hate to throw all that money away, but I don't want to make myself sick. Can it be frozen? Thanks to all who venture an answer.

Hi April!!! I'd venture that it's okay.  I mean, it doesn't say "DO NOT DRINK AFTER THIS DATE OR YOU WILL VOMIT HORRIBLY AND DIE!!" LOL!!!  But you know what I mean!!!! Don't know if it can be frozen - it might affect the protein.   I bet there's a number on the container you can call. And btw, I know a lot of people call it Mice Milk, and just sayin'....I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole - I have a huge phobia of mice!!!  LOL!!! Tia

Mice Milk!  You may be right.  I really liked this stuff post-op; but, we know how our tastes change.  I've been creatively trying to disguise the underlying taste with everything I can think of.  Can't wait until its gone! Thanks for your input. p.s. - You're gonna fell horrible   if                 I VOMIT  HORRIBLY AND DIE!!

LOL!!!!  Sorry, couldn't resist!!!!  Oh, yeah, I know all too well about tastes/smells/textures changing.  And mine changed immediately after surgery.  Even now, I can't stand to smell food when I'm full and I can't stand the smell of grease.  BLECH!!!! Maybe some s/f chocolate syrup?  I don't know - in my world, chocolate fixes everything - well, everything except man troubles!!!!   Tia

OMG, I can't stand the smell of food either if I'm really full.  I'm ready to run to the porcelain god on that one. As much as I love chocolate, I can't stomach what ever they use to coat the protein bars.  Makes me gag!  Of course, real chocolate still goes down fine.  I've never pushed it though.  Just a nibble.  My weakness before surgery was Peanut M&M's. You're right, even chocolate doesn't fix men troubles!  Hopefully one day you'll find the cure.

I'm with Tia on this one. The sell by date is usually a bit before the use by date. The store could have legally sold it to you today, and they don't intend you to drink all 4 in one day. So, you should have at least several days. I wanted to try that stuff, but couldn't find it before it went off the market. Susan Maria Leach swears by it. But, the manufacturer would be able to advise you on how long it is good after the date. If it contains any milk products, might be sooner rather than later.
Hugs!

Thanks Kathy.  I didn't know it was off the market.  Maybe that's why I go such a good sale.
