Thank you all for coming tonight to Los Portales. We didn't discuss dining habits...but we definitely had a lot of discussion!!! I think the social interaction between people who share a commonality (such as our surgery) is so important. Nobody will ever understand what we have gone through and it is nice to be able to share our experiences with others who can relate. Let's plan on gathering next month... Tuesday, June 3rd at North County High School. As usual, we will meet in the school store (walk in the main entrance...take the second left...and we are the third door on your right!!!).... We will have "social time" from 6-6:30...and then "meeting time" from 6:30-8:00 or so... No set topic is planned other then making plans for our July and August meetings... so bring your calendar!!! I will post a reminder closer to the day... Make it a goal to bring somebody!!!!! The more the merrier!!!

Dan All I can say is wow! That was some interesting conversation near the end huh? I really enjoyed meeting some more Marylanders. I will try hard to make it to the next meeting. But I did have lots of fun tonight. Candie

Hey Daniel, I had fun tonight .. next time remind me that I do NOT want to be drinking anything with caffeine!!! It's 10:46 p.m. and my wittle eyes are STILL wide open. I am hoping by the time I'm done with this mug of decaf tea I'll be relaxed enough to at least get into bed. Looking forward to the June meeting. Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

OMG..I had the greatest time..SENOR HIMAY,HOSAY and HWAN..LOL..were great!! It was nice meeting those of you I havent met...and Kristen I was slightly intoxicated when I said "it was nice meeting you" u and I are birds of a feather.......Candy-my legs were numb..I didnt feel a thing..Dan-if ever, Im the one... :P..

Its sooo good to go out with friends ..I needed tonight!

You all are nuts! That was the best time EVER! I will post the pictures later, when I can find my own head. OMG that was some good Bloody Mary'S and spicy like i like it! WOOT! I was looking at the pictures this morning, I am not sure I was breathing in any of them. I laughed so hard!

I'm sorry I missed yet another group meeting. I am sick. I've been in bed since Monday afternoon with some allergy cpap created nasal infection. Yucky I know. I thought about all of you having a great time.
