Tuesday's 3 Things!

Really not a good week for me.  My guy (or whatever you want to call him today) is on a plane to Hawaii for 11 days.  wtf?  anyway my three things today...1)Funny how depression makes me lose weight.  The scale is moving again.  I'm only 3 lbs away from the weight I was when I graduated from college.  woohoo!  2) That I meet someone soon so I don't have to miss him (he's really not worth it).  3)that I fill up these 11 days with fun.  KC on Saturday!  Wine in the Woods next Saturday!

"My guy"... Is thius the same guy who was texting you at lunch after Trader Joe's?  Is this the same guy you were worried about meeting that evening?  My how things have changed!  Good for you.

Actually no.  That one was just a date on Saturday, dumped him by Tuesday.  This one has been around a while (3 months).  Met him in my Divorce Support group, he's not yet divorced but has been separated for 7 months now.  Yeah I know - run!  I'm getting the old - he doesn't want me but he doesn't want anyone else to either???

Sorry, but given my current mood, I'm almost convinced the whole lot of them - single, married (especially them - more on that on Friday!), white, black, green - should be set adrift at sea. Really not a good attitude for someone who's seeing an ex on Friday for lunch, huh??  LOL!! Tia

Hi Tia I am so proud of Kaity too!  Give her a high five for me.  :-)   I am glad you are doing good. Hey shoukld I say have fun with the ex on Friday? lol I can't wait to hear all about it!!   Today I am thankful for: 1. My baby doing so good after getting one set of shots. I never let them give them all at once. Gianna & LG had major issues with those shots and we had to figure out the one that got them so sick. So Gia is doing great and gaining nicely.  Weighed in at 9 lbs 1 1/2 oz and gre 3 inches in 2 months she is 20 inches long. 2. 17 days until closing! 3. that I have the most beautiful memories of my Mother and that will keep me going through this 5th Mother's day without her. Have a great day everyone!

I'm grateful for: 1.  All the great people I have met here 2.  Tomorrow is my last day of work!  WOOHOO! 3.  All the support that my friends and family have given me.

Tia, I love reading your 3 Things for the Day.  Thank you for the good reads! I had to comment on this one though.  #2 - Rita's S/F Tangerine is the bomb!  My husband got this for me right after surgery and I fell in love.  Going to have some tonight with a dollop of Cool Whip Free.  You're right - it's probably better than most men! So now I'll list three things for today: 1.  McDonald's Asian salad - soooooo good! 2.  Walking outside without getting short of breath. 3.  Finding out that my sleep apnea has gone from Severe Obstructive to Very Mild (with no oxygen desaturation).  I'm not using my CPAP machine and will see a sleep specialist soon to resolve the Very Mild Issue.  Did I mention how much I hated the machine.

YEAH for Kaity. What a beautiful young woman she is becoming. You don't have to go through labor, (or adoption) to love them like your own. It just comes naturally to some of us aunts! I've never been a fan of tangerine flavored stuff, but am going to try the ice anyhow. I love the other SF flavors. Sugar alcohols used to bother me, but have not bothered me since surgery (knocking on wood right now). I am thankful for many things, every day. But, don't often post in these threads, but today is extra special for me. 1. That my best friend gave birth to two healthy baby girls this morning (3:40 and 3:41). At 35 weeks, and 2 days. Both are in the regular nursery and doing great! Mom is feeling good, all things considered (c-section with spinal block) It was a rough road to this arrival, after a few years of infertility and a few miscarriages. Of course mom and dad are thrilled, thankful for their blessings and looking forward to raising their 3 gorgeous daughters. 2. That my God-daughter, the big sister, is such a joy. She calls me her fairy God-mother. 3. That I can walk the 2 miles home from work on nice days, and not feel at all tired. I even have to pass a Ritas, where I will try the SF tangerine ice this week.
