Friday's 3 Things!
Good morning all!! Other than being exhausted, I'm still (knock on wood) feeling pretty good. I did go out to the library yesterday to grab a couple of books (finished one already), and sat in the car while Mom went to the grocery store and I was WIPED OUT when I got home. This a.m., I have to have a liver sonogram (oh, yeah, forgot to mention something's going on with my liver - they don't think it's serious, but want to check!), and then we're going do a couple small things, which I'm SURE will make me nap when I get back. Thanks again for all the well wishes, the pm's, etc. Love you guys (well, MOST of you anyway - LOL!)
Today:
1. It's Friday (and a special friend of mine is back in town and I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited). Well, just a little - LOL!!! A girl doesn't want to appear TOO eager!!
2. Makeup - Actually, it's like a toy for me. I'm headed to Ulta, my FAVE store in the whole wide world. Can you say stimulus check????? I'm a BE-addict, so I'll be hitting that counter!!! Oooooh, I can't wait!!
3. Reconnecting with old friends - I had a great conversation with my bff from high school. We live 5 minutes from each other, NEVER see each other, but last night, it was like we just picked right up from a conversation we last had. She's what I call a low-maintenance friend!!!

Glad to hear you are doing well; but whats up with the liver?
Things to be thankful for today
1. That Dr. Mo did not get upset with me about only losing 10 lbs. the last three months;
I was sweating that out let me tell you.
2. That in 9 months I lost 57% of my excess body weight ( Woo hoo)
3. That my tool still works if I use it right.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Thank goodness for 1)Rockin Roll Peanut bars I just discovered...tastes like a Pay Day with 21g protein! 2g sugar! 2)Friday happy hour is nearing. 3)My scale moved this morning. Please let this month long plateau end! Everyone have a great weekend and Tia - hope you're back to your old self by Monday. You are coming to dinner on Tuesday?
Today I am thankful for:
1. the most wonderful Kindergarten teacher my daughter has. She has been so sweet and helpful and my daughter has come a long way with her help. We are going to miss her so much when we move.
2. The first Friday in months that hubby is home with us yay! Popcorn and movies here at home tonight. I thank God for the little things!
3.My back is feeling better after the other day's fiasco!
