I have also had cortisone shots in my wrist, and this hurt about 1/2 or less than as much. It was a quick stick. Kinda about the level of a beesting, if that helps put it into perspective. The pain alao went away within a few minutes, and the cortisone shot hurt me for a few hours.
Hugs!

THERE YOU ARE, YOU BAD GIRL!!!  If I didn't see anything from you today, I was gonna call you tonight.  Busy here at work since it's my last day for a while, but I'm SO glad everything went well and that you feel comfortable. So I know you're undecided, but did DVR give any indication which surgery he thought best for you? ABG - a pain, literally, because they stick the needle in your wrist until it hits the artery (it felt like they hit bone!)  So I won't lie, no fun, but it's over QUICK!!  And like I keep saying, suck it up and look at all of this as a means to an end. Yay!! Tia

Hey Tia!!!  I know I've been a bad girl...lol  I should have checked in, but I had to work my part-time job last night and I just didn't have the time to write out everything.  So sorry!!!...lol   How long will you be out with your procedure tomorrow?  Hope all goes well! Yes, I'm undecided, but DVR also said he would recommended th Lap Band, but when we were talking about the Pro's and Con's, he heard my hesitation with the Band and said that he wouldn't do the surgery (Band) if i didn't want it because he feels then it won't work (something to that affect).  But we left that area open and said that we would discuss it further down the road before we submitt my package to the insurance company.   And as for the ABG, I'm really, really, really, really afraid of that test.  I researched it on the internet, and I know myself.  I will totally upset myself and end up crying and throwing up...(I'm such a baby yeah)...I wonder if they can numb me or if I can take some Valuum.
