Well I'm not crazy!!

Just had my Psych appt today and I passed. Even though she asked me if I thought I was depressed. I told her no and she by my scores it looks like I fall in the mild to moderate level of depression. I said oh ok. Then she asks do I think it's my weight?? What kind of question is that? Of course it is. But I don't have to take any medication or anything. Overall I think I'm a very happy person. So next week I go for my Nut appt so we shall see how that one goes.  Maybe she'll ask me if I think I'm fat?? LOL Anyways I guess you all see i have a new avatar. Kristen I found some  more Fat before photos I intend on scrapping so I can see the difference. Thanks> Candie

I think the Psych evaluation is simply a way for the WLS Surgeons to help out their friends in the pshychology field.   :-) Not really...but I just felt like it was a "check mark" on the list of things to do.   I got 30 minutes with a lady that had never seen before and would never see me again.   She asked me a lot questions.    I just had the sense that unless I stood on my chair, claimed allegence to Peter Pan and then set my self on fire, I was going to get that "check mark".   I found my conversations with my family, friends and co-workers much more helpful and insightful, from a phychological stand point, than the silly evaluation. I'm glad you got it out of the way.   Best of luck as you proceed...

Good for you. Of course you know sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don't, I know I do lmao. Thats what I told my psych and I had her in tears she was laughing so hard at me. She then proceded to tell me that in 30 years I was the easiest psych eval she ever did and that she wanted me to come back once a month just to make her laugh and she wouldn't charge me lol.
