Back from the autism ride - Mary W. - you still talking to me?

Back from the autism ride in Northern Baltimore County.  Man, they found some HILLS for us to climb thats for sure.  Met Mary W. right before the ride (funny how we knew who each other was right away!) before the ride - nice meeting you Mary.  I was hoping to see you after the ride but I was chilled to the BONE!  As I write this my son is TOTALLY PASSED OUT on the couch.  He and my husband ended up the riding 25 mile route - not sure how my husband did some of those hills on the tandem!  Hope you got some of the Wegman's treats after thr ride - awesome salad and hummus with chips.   P.S. - didn't lose a single lb. at ride end!

I was wondering how your husband and son did, I can't image that ride on a tandum, and your son must have gotten soaked.  I was so cold and wet after the ride, I just got in my car and went home to take a hot shower. That was a brutal 25 miles, the bike guy from priceton sports told me my bike was in major need of a tuneup, but he fixed me up enough that I finished and I don't think I did too badly, even with all those real bikers passing me by.  I weighed myself after the ride as well, but I'm thinking the morning scale better tell a better story! It was good meeting you also, let me know if you go out to the NCR trail....

My husband and son did great - they got wet but not soaked.  They both had rain gear on - we basically rode through mist on and off through the ride.  As I'm sure you could tell there's not much fat on either of them.  My husband is a very strong rider.  Ethan loved it - everyone commented to them on the ride - he loved the attention!   We were happy to take a warm shower though.   Would love to ride the trail with you - we'll talk soon.
