Maryland Board Picnic

Hey all - Well, I started thinking about a picnic get-together for us, our family (including all single brothers, brothers-in-law, uncles (Kristen!!), cousins, nephews, etc.)  While I haven't given much thought to the where, food (I DO promise that it will be wls friendly and non-op friendly as well), not sure if we should do a potluck or have it catered, etc.  Volunteers to serve on a planning committee are needed, so come on!! Since Maryland summers can be SO hot and humid, I was wondering if we should do one in the fall, say October, as it's usually warm well into October. So that's all I need right now from you: Summer or Fall Let me know! Tia

Good Morning Tia, I would vote for fall just not too late in October.  I would be driving from far then so let me know way ahead of time. :-)

LOL!  Yes but I wouldn't miss coming up to see my OH friends.   So even if it is summer unless I am not in the middle of a move I will be there regardless. hugs

Eric - The first park I looked at, based on Heather's suggestion was Sandy Point.  And guess what?? They have kayaking!!!  Kayaking and a fire truck - what more could a boy want??? Tia
