Good morning Tia, and all. Happy Monday! I'm grateful for so much in my life, but can't always think of 3 different things... Today, I'm grateful for: 1. My renewed health, and how great I feel 2. My eye doctor appointment today. I always like picking out new glasses. 3. Spring, and mostly warm weather and sunshine.

Hey Kath - 1.  Yep, it's a gift others take for granted. 2.  I have one tonight, too.  But I wear contacts 99% of the time.   3.  Warm weather?  Sunshine?  Kath, where ARE you?????  LOL!!! Tia

Well, my eye doc's office messed up my appointment, but it did all work out in the end. Picked out new glasses from their AWFUL selection. But, didn't like any of the frames, so I had to order one in a different color. Hopefully when it comes in, the color will be tolerable, and I can officially order my new glasses. I don't have patience for contacts. Plus, I'm allergic to all of the cleaners. If I could afford the disposables that you don't clean, you just throw out, I might try contacts again. Perhaps next year, if I'm at goal, and changing my image. OK, I posted before I went out for the day, lol. It wasn't cold, but not warm and sunny by any stretch. Rewind to yesterday and replay my post, lol.

1. Grateful that I found a window of opportunity to plant flowers and herbs yesterday (after being on the elliptical for 60 minutes). 2. My basement is dry. 3. The pants i'm wearing today are a wee bit loose.

Tia Nothing like wtching a bunch of 6 and 7 year olds play lacrosse - it was fun! As for my Hens, just waiting to see where Flac****uarterback) goes in the NFL draft......

Hi everyone!  Happy Wet as SH$t Monday!  1)  I'm grateful for celebrating my daughter's 20th birthday yesterday.  2)  That she didn't destroy my house too much at her birthday party Saturday night, even after having a Chocolate Cake fight.  3) My "friend" that took me dancing Friday night.  (Wi**** was actually a date, but no, just friends.) 

Hi Karen - Happy belated bday to your daughter.   Holy cow - they had a cake fight?  When you said that, I had to go back and look at her age.  I'd spank the lot of them!!  Glad your house survived!!! I'm glad you got to go dancing, sorry it wasn't a date.  I wish I could be more optimistic about the dating scene; maybe you'll have better luck than I.  Frankly, the whole thing sucks.  I've tried online dating, offline dating, blind dates, etc.  All the websites were good for was taking my $$, and even when I've been approached by nice guys, something always happens.  I guess that begs the question, "What am I doing wrong?" but honestly, I just don't know.  They say it happens when you least expect it, so maybe there's still a glimmer of hope for you!!  Keep your chin up! Tia P.S.  Maybe all the good guys went the way of my umbrellas.  I'll check my trunk!! LOL!!

Can you believe they had a cake fight?  I felt like I was back at a Fraternity party in college.  Animal house?  Yeah that was my house.  I'll have to wait til it stops raining to see if there was any residual cake droppings outside.  Oh, the dating scene - what is it?  where is it? Blah!  Well, I'm not expecting anything - so he can come on down and drop in my lap any time now!  I am just hoping to have a few more outings with my "friend" before he moves on to the next.  I enjoy his company and I'll miss the fun we are having when he finds "the one."
