3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY!

Hi Tia!  TGIF!  I am of course grateful for today being Friday and it being such a beautiful & WARM day today!  I love it!  2) Being able to wear cute capris and 3) For my wonderful husband and daughters.  I love them so very much and my hubby is really trying hard to be more romantic and considerate.  He's a great guy - even if he does like to play the x-box/playstation ALL the time.  :)  He lets me do pretty much what I want and rarely complains.  He has been so gracious with all of my surgeries and so supportive.  Although this time around he did complain about the body pillows i slept with - said we had a 3rd person in the bed with us.  I have taken them out of the bed  and I miss them but I need to get used to sleeping without them.   We had Rita's Ice yesterday.  That was the first time I had Rita's.  The custard is not very sweet at all.  I had a custard mixed with raspberry italian ice.  I was only able to eat about 1/3 of it - started to feel icky in my tummy.  Yay, my pouch does still work.    But it was nice to sit and talk to my husband in the beautiful evening.  And it was nice too that he actually suggested we go out and enjoy the evening.  Maybe next time we will walk there and back.  Then I'll get in a good 2 mile walk.  That'll almost wipe out the 1/3 serving of ice cream.     Have a great weekend.  I won't get outside until this evening but I will get a good workout done at the gym and might sneak out for 15 min just to enjoy the sun for a few minutes.   Hugs, Robin

Hi Rob - 1.  Yay!  A warm Friday. 2.  I bought the cutest ones at Walmart - dark blue denim with different colored flip-flops.  Not really sure I like how they look though.  Still debating.  I broke out the sandals earlier this week, and I AIN'T going bac****il September!! 3.  Yes, you truly are blessed.  You know what?  Having been married to an abusive alcoholic, I say let Art have at the video games.  My brother's really into it, too, and there could be a lot worse activities to be into!! I LOVE Rita's.  I took KB there today, but they didn't have s/f, so I didn't get any.  I love their custard, but wow, is it rich!!! Have a great weekend! Tia

Hi Mary! Actually, the first time I had mashed cauliflower was at Ruby Tuesday's, don't know if they still serve it or not.  All I did was overcook a bag of frozen cauliflower, drain it well, ma**** up with a fork (I left mine just a little chunky), added some margarine, about a teaspoon of cream cheese (I didn't have fat free but I'm sure it would work just as well), and garlic salt and pepper to taste.  Oh, it was YUM!!! It sounds like you're going to have a wonderful day with people you love - what more could you ask for!!! Have fun! Tia

Hi Tia, I hope you are feeling better. Today I am grateful for: 1. That my son is doing so much better after that awful surgery.  There is light at the end of the tunnel after all.   2. That I will get to meet my grand daughter for the first time this weekend. 3. For my friends here on OH!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
