Just an update...

No news on my records...I havent felt like calling the doctors office today...I will another day this week..

I had a "check-up" the other day to review my blood work from my physical. It seems I have an underactive Thyroid. So I am now on Thyroid Hormones. She said this may be a reason why I am finding it hard to lose weight...either that or the Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream.... :P

I also had a sleep study done last Saturday. I went because of my husband's prompting...I snore loud..and often...He said he never noticed any apnea, but it was best to check it out.  I got the results back today; I slept for 366 minutes. I had apnea for a total of 131 minutes that night. I was telling a gentleman at work who I thought was rather intelligent (he fooled me) and he said OMG..You could have died not breathing for 131 minutes  OMG..Heres your sign.

18 seconds being the shortest and 31 seconds being the longest. I go back again for a CPAP study. Woooooo. I honestly didnt think I had sleep apnea..So this comes as a surprise.

Nothing else happening in my world..Oh I wore a dress today with 4 inch heels...I never wear a dress to work but received lots of positive reactions from it..more like stares and double takes (hey Ill take what I can get)...I only wore it because I had to move buildings/offices and they were expecting ME to actually do the moving...YEAH RIGHT!! So, needless to say when it was time..I pushed my chair out to the van and that was it...WOOHOOOOOOOO..Way to work those assets!!

I wish you all the best with trying to get the records.  I am glad that everything is getting taken care of for you now so that nothing else can stand in your way of getting approved.   You cracked me up with wearing a dress and hi heels. Hey it worked!  lol

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

LOL on the dress and heals. You're SOOOO smart! The only part of my pre-op testing that I wasn't comfortable with was the sleep study. I was prescribed cpap, and have used it a few times, lol. I am a stomach sleeper, and can't keep the thing on. I keep forgetting to call the company and find out where to ship it back to. You crack me up with the "here's your sign". I absolutely love Bill Engvall!
Hugs!

It takes time to get used to sleeping with a cpap. I have used one for years. I recently had to go back to using it after about 8 months off. I noticed immediately I feel better in the am afterwards. I am also a stomach sleeper. I have learned to half sleep on my stomach. They also have newer masks that work better for people that just don't sleep on thie backs. Best of luck!
