Happy Wednesday!!!

Just a quick check in for the middle of the week!   Hope everyone is doing well and having a happy and productive week.   I'm moving along on my projects at work and the fire truck .. well . it's looking like a BIG red truck in the driveway at home.    For anyone on the shore, the Easton VFD is having their 200th Anniversary Parade Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.   That will be our first parade with the truck and I'm excited (tho Mr Mo has a few worries about breaking down .. and causing mayhem on the Bay Bridge .. ).   I haven't quite decided if I will ride with him or find a spot and take pictures.   I guess it will depend on how much I get to see before the parade steps off. WLS wise, I'm doing well.  The scale is moving in the right direction.  Not rapidly but at least it's gone down some.   I would say right now I am only in the 15 pounds up range .. and I really am working at losing those pounds so I can tackle the last 20-25. Have a wonderful day.  If I don't reply to a post during the day, I'll try later this evening when I am home. Hugs, Mo

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Hey Moie - It's Happy Wednespay for me!!  WOO-HOO!!!  BOO-HOO!!  Broke already thanks to my upcoming root canal tomorrow.  Oh, well, it needs to be done.  Although I'm a little concerned because it's still clearly infected and I don't know how they'll address the infection.  I need to be infection free and healed before the ablation on the 30th. Other than that, nothing new.  K is recovering from yet another round of strep throat and some massive allergic reaction to SOMETHING.  We visit doctor after doctor and all we hear is "dermatitis."  Poor little thing. Tonight is softball practice and the Opening Day parade is on Saturday, providing it doesn't rain.  The poor team this year looks like something from the Island of Misfit Toys, but we just care that they're good sports and have fun. I've never been IN a parade, so that sounds like fun.  So will Big Red be going to OC for Firemen's Week?  I can't imagine Mr. Mo missing that!!! Glad the scale's moving down.  Have it talk to mine, wouldja?  I'm hoping that once I'm off these excessive hormones and have my procedure and recover from that, that mine will be joining it, especially since I'll be then able to enjoy my new gym membership! Well, have a good day.  Keep an eye out for a new daily post I'm going to try to start. Hugs, Tia

Not so sure about the big OC parade.   That would be a LONG way for Mack to go and it would definitely be a one day trip, though if we could get the day off I could see the two of us just making the trip to WATCH the parade! Maybe you need to postpone the root canal til after the ablation?  and concentrate on getting rid of the infection???? I definitely need to get back to the gym.   I have become SUCH a slug and I'm not liking it much!!!! Hugs, Mo

If my tooth is infected, I can't have the ablation at all until it's gone.  So I HAVE to get this infection cleared up.  There's still some time, and I've heard that what may happen is that the dentist may have to cut into the gum (YIKES!) to drain the infection, keep me on antibiotics and bring me back to finish the root canal.  We'll see.  I'm fortunate to have good doctors, so I'll just have to trust them!! That first appointment really starts putting it all in perspective and you know you are REALLY on your way!!! Best wishes for your appointment with Dr Moe.    I just put one of those 3 inch memory foam toppers on my bed (my sister bought it and didn't like it so she gave it to me).   I don't sleep particularly well ...  fall asleep just fine it's the staying asleep part that is a problem.   We have a sleep number mattress in the RV and let me tell you .. Lindsay Wagner LIES .. I don't sleep any better on it.   Well, I was saying that I don't sleep any better on the memory foam either, but I am noticing that I am waking up less frequently, so maybe there is something to it. Hugs, Mo

Yeah, I'm so ready to see him.  My appointment is at 2 pm on Monday, but they said to be there at 1:30.  I have made all the arrangements on my job and for the kids, so I'm good to go.  As for the memory foam toppers, I used to have one until I bought my new mattress.  I spent good money on this new mattress and it is soooooooooooooo much more comfortable.  To be honest, I just toss and turn and wake up so much in the middle of the night, that I'm just sooooooooooooo exhausted the next day.  I did tell my PCP that if for some reason I don't get the surgery, we do need to fix what ever problem it is that is keeping me from sleeping at night...lol  I need sleep!!!...lol   T

Glad the sleeping's getting better. I'm off for the next two days, but be sure to update us on your appt. Monday! Good luck, Tia
