St. Agnes tonight

I am going tonight to St Agnes to hear the  plastic surgeon speak. That is if I can get myself together. It seems these days there just aren't enough hours in the day. It is still quite strange to me since a year and 8 months ago my day was spent in bed every day and now I need an extra 8-12 hrs a day. Life is Beautiful!!!! It is generally the lapband meeting but at the RNY meeting Dr Averbach told us to come. Really , I think anyone can go to any of them. Gotta run so I can make it.Have a great day. Laurie

I  was almost  ready to walk out the door for the meeting tonight  when my daughter called from work. I missed the meeting tonight.I hope if anyone has some info. after going they will post it. I really wanted to go but we had a family emergency. I just wanted to ask for info. if anyone has any. I must run things are still up in the air here. I hope they will do another meeting with a plastic surgeon. I am sure it was a great meeting. I am exhausted and can't think straight but wanted to say sorry for saying I would be there and not going. Laurie

Hey Ellen, I was waiting for that bottle of scotch.  Might as well started drinking, I seen a lot of breasts.  

I think I saw you but had to leave soon after 7 to get the family fed.  I drank the bottle of scotch myself on the way home     Knew you'd like all the breast pics.  I'm glad I went.  I see my hips and am sure thats the surgery I'm going to need so was glad to see how they do it.....interesting how his thigh surgery focuses medially (inner).  He does a fair amount of lipo when he's in there doing surgery.  For those who missed it - lots of pictures of patients with abdominaplasty and breast maxoplasty - impressive results.  The face lifts took years off these women!!!!!!!!!!  Some talk of insurance coverage - maybe to remove a panniculus but the rest is pretty much on your own. 

Did anyone go to the support meeting last night?  I was at Dr. Singh's office on Monday for the pre-op class and then again on Tuesday for an appointment with the good doc.  Couldn't talk hubby into letting me go back (2+ hour drive) again for the support group.  Cathy Carr told us that this plastic surgeon was one of the best around and would be bringing before and after pictures.  I would loved to have been there.  Maybe they can get him to return sometime later. If you went, please give us an update. Deb

I wasn't able to make it to the meeting.  Who was the plastic surgeon that spoke?  Any thoughts about him / her?

Dr. Sinno.  Didn't pay much attention to him as a doctor - I live in Towson, am in health care and know plenty of plastics guys so would probably do plastics here closer to home.  But, knowing that - I found him knowledgeable and personable.
