ALEX GRANDSAS PATIENTS

Alex Grandsas is a very well known surgeon that performes many bariatric procedures. I am interested in the VSG and I wanted to know if anyone's had this procedure with him?  If so, I'd like to hear about your experience. Did you like him as a person? Does anyone know how many VSG procedures he has done overall? Thanks!

Take a look at my profile and pictures, you will see him.  He is so personal with his patients, I love him.  He is doing really well with the VSG.  I would recommend the VSG and RNY any day to anyone as long as Dr. G does it.  Nancy is wonderful there as there Nut.  I had the RNY and I am almost 7 months out and have lost 98 pounds. LOVE IT!  Last I heard his numbers were in the 70's for the VSG that is called the sleeve, right?  But he has done over 800 some RNY.  Check out one of there seminars and will be there in May doing a talk to pre-op patients again.  Welcome to the Maryland board and keep us posted. I went with Dr. Li at Sinai's practice - I have a review of my history and how the group handled it....they are fantastic.  But I was an RNYer.  Just my 2 cents on the Sinai program though! Best of luck to you!
