1 Year Surgiversary!!!
I am writing this a day early because I'll be in NYC tomorrow celebrating my 1 YEAR SURGIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!! YAY ME!!!!! LOL. I can't believe how fast time has flown by, it seems like only yesterday that I was preparing for surgery. I have never been happier and having the surgery has changed my life forever. I can't believe how life changing it actually is. I have maintained my current weight for about 2 months now and am totally fine with that. I'm about 145lbs and wearing a size 6!!! WOW!!! I still can't believe Im actually that size! I still don't see myself that size or even as a skinny person but I guess I am,lol. This week has been bittersweet for me just remembering where I was this time last year and tomorrow I know I'm sure to get teary eyed just because I'll be soooo thankful for everything. God has been SO GREAT to me and has blessed me beyond measure. If your considering the surgery I would totally reccommend it although you have to do your homework! There is a lot involved in your success. The surgery is NOT the easy way out, it is only a tool. The rest is up to you!!! Choosing the right food and exsercising is still key to maintain a healthy life and your weight. God Bless you all and thanks for all your words of encouragment along the way!
