Hi everyone - Well, it's been a fun week in Tia-land.  Had my two gyn procedures done yesterday - um.....can you say OUCH!!!!  I mean, shaking, lightheaded, I'm gonna pass out pain!!!!!!  All in all, it didn't take long, but I swear I was on that table for 4 days!!!!!  Thank God I took a painkille that I'd been given for an infected tooth before I went or I probably would still be there!!!  Everything went fine, other than some bleeding that they couldn't stop and had to cauterize (LOADS OF FUN!), and I'll have the results in about 10 days.  The doc said he's not overly concerned because I keep up with my yearly exams/Pap's.   NOTE TO ALL YOU WOMEN:  IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN FOR YOUR YEARLY PAP, GO!!!!  IT'S TOO IMPORTANT TO AVOID!!! So it's Friday and I'm just going to take it easy today since I'm still feeling a little blah and crampy.  And, because my brother's sick (boo!), we don't have KB tomorrow (boo-yay!).  We'll probably just take it easy, maybe go to a movie, but there aren't any chick flicks out there so I don't know what we'll do. Hope everyone is doing well and thanks for the post Steph, and for the well wishes to everyone!!! Tia

Tia, glad to here everything is done and over with!  With not knowing exactly what procedure you had yesterday, but reading your post, I believe I went through the same thing.  A yearly Pap is soooooooooo important.  Actually I have to do one every 6 months for the last couple of years...urghhhhhhhhhhhhh.  On a positive note, I too had to wait for my results and was stressed and pulled my hair out, but my results came back good!  So after yesterday, u deserve a break and some relaxation! Enjoy!

((( Tia ))) Thinking of you sweetie!  I'm sorry I haven't been around more (I am barely even lurking these days) but things have been busy at work and at home. Glad  you have this part behind you and will keep thinking positive thoughts for the results. Hugs & smoochies, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!
