LOOKING FOR LOCAL SUPPORT GROUP

 New to Pikesville,MD need support BAD!!!!

Welcome to MD! Towson isn't just right around the corner, but we're not far away either. Our support group at GBMC has recently evolved with the addition of 2 therapists and a new nutritionist. I went to my first post-op meeting last week, and the group has really come around to be much more about support and information. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 6-7 at the hospital.

Hi Delainya, Welcome to the Maryland boards and to Maryland for that matter. I am not too far from Pikesville. I am in Parkton...about 10 minutes north of Hunt Valley. I am going to get back to the GBMC meeting next month. Hope to see you there.

Welcome to MD!   I am in Westminster and lead an informal support group in Carroll County the 3rd Wed of each month. We would love to have you join us!  We will be meeting next on April 16th at 7:00 and the Westminster branch of theCarroll County Public Library.  Watch for a thread with directions closer to the date!  Caryn

Welcome! There are a few support groups that meet monthly through the hospitals and alaso groups we have established. We also like to get together monthly or so just to spend time with each other. This board is one of the best for support as you will soon find.

Johns Hopkins Bayview also has a great support group on the 2nd & 3rd Thursdays of the month from 5-6. It's a great group with great topics. Best of luck!!!
