SNACKS
I try not to snack but I'm not always succesful. I've done peanuts and spoonfuls of peanut butter here and there. I found some rice-cake-looking snacks that are made from soy. They taste pretty good and come in several flavors. I've also eaten pork rinds from time to time. The interesting thing about the pork rinds is that they have about 7-9 grams of protein per serving but usually state on the package that they are not a good source of protein. Go figure.
I had somebody tell me the other day that they eat Slim Jims for snacks. I haven't looked that the info on them yet but it makes sense that they would be high in protein.
I don't think I have a favorite. What happens is that I go on kicks when all I want to eat or crave is one kind of protein. Then the next time I think about it, I want to barf at the thought of eating it. LOL
I got this new thing now. I take a thin slice or 2 of motzerilla cheese (man am I ever a bad speller) and put some tomato sauce on it, but not the prepared kind just the kind that comes from tomatoes alone. Then I cover up the sauce with another slice of cheese and microwave for a minute. OMG it is so good and goes down soooooo well. Yummo
