OT; APPLYING FOR PASSPORT
HEY EVERYONE : I CANN'T BELIEVE I'M SAYING THIS BUT I AM APPLYING FOR MY PASSPORT;
MEANING I AM READY TO START TRAVELING AND ENJOY MY LIFE. AND I JUST NOTICED
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS THE WEIGHT ON MY LICENSE IS CORRECT; I NEVER
WOULD ADMIT TO OVER 250 LBS LOL THANK GOD FOR WLS AND THANK YOU
TO MY OH FRIENDS WHO PUT UP WITH MY OT POSTS AND ENCOURAGE ME ALONG
THIS NEW WAY OF LIFE.
Good luck in your travels; I'm sure that you'll have a wonderful time!
I was surprised at how quickly the process took for obtaining a passport. I had heard stories that it took m-o-n-t-h-s to get it, but when I applied back in September, I had my new-issued passport in less than two weeks. I was soooo happy!
I just returned from my honeymon trip: a 13-day cruise (Portugal and Spain), and a 4-day visit to Ireland. It was an incredible time. Now I'm already investigating our next big vacation in two years: a cruise through the Panama Canal. Anyone want to come along?
I don't know which would be more of my dream vacation, a European cruise, or Panama Canal. Both just sound so awesome. Funny thing was, when I took a 12 night cruise, I just felt like that the last 2-3 days dragged on. But, when I took a 5 day cruise, I felt like it was too short. So, I'm looking forward to this years upcoming 7 day cruise. I figure that will be just right. Although my longer cruise was with my ex, so perhaps the drugery was because of the company I was keeping. If you can find a way to pack me in your luggage, I'm totally game for a Panama Canal cruise, lol. Otherwise, I doubt it's in my budget.
Hugs!
Kathy
