I had my initial consultation with the surgeon on March 18th. I have one more month of supervised dieting and I have my psychological evaluation tomorrow. Things are moving along quickly and Im hoping for a quick insurance approval (fingers crossed) and the doctor would like to see me in surgery in May. It seems "more real" now...

I know how you feel. When I actually got my date for surgery, I was completely shocked for a good week. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything goes smoothly. Good luck!!!

Thank you everyone..i see all of you losing weight...and I think...damn...If I get surgery in May...by August I could possibly have lost 40 pounds...lol...Im supposed to go to my friends "purple reign" birthday party at the aquarium the end of August...(everyone must wear purple)...and I want to glam it out...lol

I will say, and I doubt I am the only one who feels this way... any weight loss, even if it's not the exact number you thought it would be, makes you want to glam it out. It's energizing! Everyone loses differently, but 40 pounds isn't out of reach for the first 3 months. The important part is to follow doctors orders, and do what is best for your body. The rest will fall into place. I'm wishing you a speedy approval! It's exciting, but the waiting can be a killer, lol. Just ask anyone who toughed it out with me waiting for approval. I drove them crazy here, lol.
Hugs!
