Happy Good Friday!

Hey everyone - It's Friday, it's a holiday weekend and I'm off - what more could a girl want?!! For those of you who observe, don't forget - no meat today!! We're having our 40th annual Good Friday Steakfish Fry - the menu includes 12 pounds of steakfish that Mom will dredge in seasoned flour and fry (OMG!!), steamed shrimp, western fries, mac salad with shrimp and some other fixings.  We never used to do the steamed shrimp, but we buy that now in the event my pouch rebels.  Although I wait for this all year, so I hope it doesn't!! Tomorrow is the very first Saturday in longer than I can remember that we don't have KB!  We ALMOST don't know what do to - I say ALMOST because there's lots to do for Easter.  We may try to slip in a movie, but I really don't see that happening.  I bought K a sterling silver pair of Hannah Montana earrings shaped like guitars from QVC - she'll be excited.  B's getting some Legos - he'll be equally excited!!  As for me, yes, I'll have a Reese's PB Egg (or 10) - hey, they have protein!!!  Yes, I treat myself - if I didn't, I'd be eating 10 chocolate bunnies!!! On Monday, I'm having an endometrial biopsy at my gyn's office, and I'm told it can be pretty painful.  NOT looking forward to that, but it's a necessary precursor before my ablation in a couple of weeks. Last night we went to Nacho Mama's for black bean soup (for Tia), chili (for Heather), and catfish tacos for both of us!!  Oh, it was yummy as always!!  Heather's little girl, Kylie, had to sit next to her Tia (awww!), and kept snuggling close and putting her head on my shoulder!!  She's a beautiful child, sure to grow into a beautiful woman!! So now, I'm trying to avoid cleaning the bathroom and dusting the furniture.  ICK!! Tell me what's going on with you!!!  Have a great Good Friday!! Tia Tell me what's going on in your world!!!

Tia It feels great to be off today! WOOT! I am a little busy, I have to go pick up the lamb today and I need to get my nails done and then I have a party to go to tonight.  I am becoming such a social butterfly! lol I have to be honest about that emb biopsy for me it sucked but others have not felt a thing.  I just had it done back in Dec and I was not thrilled about it.  You went to Nacho Mama's with out me! we get to take off either Friday or Monday. I picked Monday. My granddaughters will be visiting the whole weekend and into Monday evening. When everyone goes to work on Monday it will just be me and my girls...all day.    I prepare the meal for all of my family for Easter. Well, not actually, everyone brings dishes. We are having ham, home made mac&cheese, stewed tomatoes, cole slaw, brocolli salad, deviled eggs, coconut cake, mini eclairs and cupcakes for the kiddies. ARE YOU ALL HUNGRY NOW?????  I hope everyone has a Happy Easter.

Wow I want to come over and have some of that yummy food!   Gino works and so no I will not be cooking. It will be just me and the kiddos. I hope you all have a great time and your pouch does not rebels!   Nothing much going on here I took a walk with the kids for half an hour and my hips and lower back is paying for it now.   Gino is at work. Take some pain killer before you go to the doctor. Why are they doing it in the office? The should do something to assist you through this prior to the biopsy. Good Luck!
