Thanks everyone for helping us Newbies out
So yesterday I had my initial consult with Dr Schweitzer. I thought he was very pleasant. He had an intern go through everything with me (Dr. Gupta). Dr Gupta was fantastic. My blood pressure was really high though when I went in. It was 154 / 88. they asked if I was nervous, you think. I was shaking like a leaf. I don't know why. Afterwards I felt so at ease. They could have told me I was having surgery that day and I would have let them. I now just have to get copies of my doctor's notes and send them over to Bayview and Mrs. Lee will send everything over to the insurance. I still have my consult for Pscyh and Nut in April so I'm hoping around June I can have the RNY done. I want to thank everyone on this board for helping those of us that are newbies and just starting out. Your wealth of knowledge and information is invaluable. I will keep everyone updated.

You're on your way!! Trust me, the next several months will fly by!!! Here's hoping for a smooth insurance process, pscy and nut.
And by all means, feel free to join us here often!!! Even at almost 3 years post-op, the support I continue to get for both on and off wls topics, is invaluable.
