Opera
Help I am going to the Opera next month on April 2nd and I can not wait, I don't have a thing to wear to something like this and need to get a little fancy for this. Any suggestions? I am not sure I want to rule out wearing a dress. I might try to hit one of the local consignment stores. Anyone know of any sales right now?
This is going to be a night out and I want to look hot cause I feel hot, just worried about what to wear to an opera. You know me I am just looking forward to these italian men in tights:)

LOL!
I would check out Sears. You won't find something super fancy, but they did have some great clearance prices when I was last there. Also, since you are over on that side of the world, they have that consignment shop in Millersville. But, then again, can you still wear plus sizes? There is always Goodwill and Salvation Army to look at.
I won't buy anything now that isn't a HUGE deal. The stores are clearancing their winter items now, so you will find the best retail prices of the season. But, it might be something you will only wear once, so it's a tough call on whether to spend the $$ or not. You could always consign it after you wear it, or eBay it, to make some of your money back...

Thanks Kathy
That is my plan, I want something cheep and not full price cause my weight loss has kicked back up again and there is no way I will wear it again but never say never I guess. I have a ball to go to as well in May so I am thinking like a ****tail dress or something along that line.

Kristen: Have you checked out Ross? I had a Bat Mitzvah to attend today and really had no desire to purchase anything new since I'm only 8 weeks out from surgery (everything I own is too big, but buying something new and expensive would be foolish). Anyway, on a whim, I found an awesome dress at Ross for $9.99 and practically everything in the store was on sale! You're welcome to borrow the dress I just bought - I've only worn it once. It's an XL, I think it translates to a 16/18. I don't know what your size is, though. If you'd rather buy something new, Ross is a great place to start. It'**** or miss, some days they have lots to choose from, other days, not so much. I guess I went on a day when they received a shipment, because I've never been able to buy something right off the rack and have it look awesome! Have an awesome time at the opera!!
Good luck!
