Thanks Di! I'm quite blown away by the last 3 months. All in a good way!! You stop worrying that your weight loss has slowed down!! I've gone through periods of slow loss already.  Our bodies have been through so much these past few months. Plus, with all the hormone changes, with our thinner bodies trying to get back to normal and on cycle. You can find plenty of snacks that will have less of a caloric and carb impact on your diet. Soy crisps are one of them. You whole family might even like them. They have them at the grocery store in the chip section (or sometimes in the rice cake section) and I get awesome ones with garlic and feta cheese at Trader Joes in Towson. I also have peanuts, sunflower seeds and almonds handy, and keep a small plastic container of one of the above in my purse. Even though it does have carbs, even an ounce or so of popcorn won't be too bad. I get the single serve microwave bags, of the smart pop, or whatever is lowest in fat. It even has a few grams of protein. Don't let yourself get discouraged from just a few days. You've done great, and made awesome progress. I saw your v-day picture, and you look gorgeous.
Hugs!

Way to go, Kathy!! That is so incredible you've lost 80+ lbs in three short months!! I just had surgery on March 5th and I hope I can lose weight like you have in that amount of time. I have my one week follow-up appt. with Dr. Moein on Thursday... can't wait to get rid of this annoying drain on my side!!!

Keep up the great work girl!

Thanks very much for your encouragement. Congrats on being on the losers bench. I know you're in great hands with Dr. Moein and all at GMBC. Please be sure not to compare yourself to anyone else. Mo's quote "Comparison is the theif of joy" is so very true! You'll do great! But, my loss is only a number. The important part is that we all do what is best to keep ourselves healthy. I learned some lessons in our way of eating the hard way, and lost a lot of weight right up front. No complaints about the number, but I'm glad I'm getting more on the right track for my protein and water intake. That helps me feel better.
