I ve been home since friday, but this is the first time i could sit at my computer with a smile on my face .I just wanted to say thank you all for the well wishes and congrats i received. I was reading them over and over, and i want to tell you one thing Maryland board you all give me strength that i needed! Thanks again!  I will gave more details about my five hour surgey information about my surgery including the hernias i never knew I had later. I am sweating  now so i am going to lay back down. I still dont have all my strength back. I have a question also does everyone has gas, because i havent experince this yet? Or is it on the way.

I am so glad you are home resting.  Take your time healing it is different for everyone.   As for the gas I had it from day one I had surgery.  But if you sip sip sip and walk walk and walk around the house chances are you will do great and not build up too much.  Walking around is essential for your circulation anyway so make sure you do.    Take care and I hope your recovery is a swift one.   Hugs,

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Great to hear Vanessa! Keep listening to your body. Push just a little bit, until your body says stop, and then you rest. Sounds like you've been doing great!  My gas was relatively minor, but I found relief in Gas-X thin strips. Also, activity does help to move things around, and expel what is left over. Hopefully you won't have much. I've also found that losing weight has helped with my gassiness in general.  Keep sipping, and walking when you feel able. Keepying hydrated will help with your recovery.
Hugs!

I didn't have gas when I first left the hopsital. My gas started when I began to eat foods. I have never had the gas pains people talk aboout from lap surgery. Didn't have it with my c- sections or my tubal ligation. Maybe I saved it all up for later..... never knew such a little pouch could create so much noise or hot air!!!

Glad you are starting to feel better. I can tell you are having a tough time. Remember that it will get better. Just keep pushing on. I had horrible gas when I had the surgery but normal amounts of gas afterwards.
