Had surgery and finally home and doing good
Glad to hear that things went well. I'm looking forward to hearing more about ON-Q, since I've never heard of it. As far as the shots, I didn't have to do them post-op. They gave them to me twice daily at the hospital, but I barely felt them. When I was in school, I gave myself shots (of saline) to learn how to do it. The needles were so small, I barely felt them. I hope that you have tiny needles for your shots as well.
As far as products with sugar in them, yes, many do have it. There are some sugars that are OK, such as lactose (unless you are lactose intolerant), and a small amount of fructose. Some people can tolerate sugar alcohol better than others. But, sugar alcohol is rumored to not raise your blood sugar levels. I was blown away by how much "sugar" is in skim milk. But, then I realized that it is lactose.
Hugs!
