Yes, there is a relatively new support group. I have not made it there yet but hope to soon. The people I know that go say it is great. It is at the North county high school , I believe, hopefully some people will come on and give you all the details.
Crofton also has a support group. Plus most of the hospitals and there are different groups all around. Most of the time people post before the group meets to remind everyone when and where and let new people know.
The Crofton group had a great meeting recently with a person trainer speaking on exercise. It was really good- of course in all honesty he is my personal trainer but I have only been with him a few months and my weight loss jumped and i feel great and love it. I believe if there is enough interest he will speak again in Crofton in April or anywhere close enough that is interested.

Our next meetings are as planned.....Tuesday, March 4th and April 8th. We are trying to do a "first Monday" type of thing!!!!! Our May meeting is going to be really exciting...we are going to have a dinner out!!!! Mexican (Los Portales!!!)
As usual, we will have some social time from 6:00-6:30...and the meeting will be from 6:30 to 8:00 (or so)... I haven't had surgery yet but the group was really fun and it was great getting to put names with faces. We talked about protein and people brought some samples to share. It was a lot of fun. Oh and it's held at North County High School. Hope to see you there! Donna

I hope to see you there and Laurie you too. It is great fun and I have learned so much. It is great to be with people and talk to people that have had the same thing done. We have all been there and done that and if we haven't we are going to .

Hope to see you there too. I am going to try and make it. I have an apt before the support group that I have changed 4 times and I have to keep so if I am finished in time I am going to try and find the meeting. I really want to come. That week is crazy for me the next night my surgeon is speaking at the St Agnes support group so I am trying to go there and the night after St Agnes has asked me to speak at their community kickoff so for a person that never drives near Balto. or DC and pretty much sticks around Annapolis I have a lot of new experiences coming up. Even today I have to drive to Towson UN . I didn't drive 1 1/2 yrs ago. This is all new exciting and a bit scary..I love life. What a gift this surgery is, life is. I am still i Awe of everything I have now and it keeps coming and I do have health issues but I am so much better and some thing won't change but life is just beyond my wildest dreams.
