Smiley For give me but I forget your real name.  I think we are all there with the carbs.  I am praying for Spring and Summer to get here fast.  I think the nice weather would help us all to get more active.  But your weight loss has been great and you should be really proud of yourself. Hugs Kristen Darla YOU GO GIRL!  Look at you!  You look wonderful too.  I would not let this little thing worry you.  You have come too far.  So it is a little tight on the air plane just ask for an extender.  They have those now and they are great.  I would not worry about what others think, only you know how far you have come.  Jus****ch the food out there in Vegas, I hear there is tons of it.  You know how to make the right choices and you don't want to go back to the old health issues.  You really do look so wonderful, I am so proud of you. BIG HUGS Kristen Kathy Again I did not know that was you!  LOOK AT YOU!  You look great!  Keep positive the scale will move again.  I hit that for about 6 weeks and drove myself nuts only lossing 1 pound a week and it finally moved again.  But I also know soon that the "Honeymoon" will be over and this is where I have to work.  But this is why I got this tool, I got it so that when the time came I would know how to use it and I think we will both be just fine.  Keep us posted!  My DH calls it crap booking but he does not mind sitting there and looking at my great work after the fact.  KEEP UP THE SCRAPBOOKING! Hugs Kristen

Hi all! Kristen, great idea for a thread! I have been doing well. My appetitie has been back for about 2 weeks now, and not sure what is going on there. However, I amtrying to make sure that my fluids are good, and my protein is up. I think I have been slacking on both. I had my 3 month check up last week. At that point I had lost a total of 55lbs. I have been getting to the gym about 3 days a week, and doing the treadmill at home, about another day or two. Also while I am at school, on my break I have been sneaking into the weight room, maybe once or twice a week. I am waiting for the day I get caught! It is supposed to be for the boys sports teams.  Other than that, life is pretty status quote.  All 4 of the girls are good.  We will be going to Lancaster PA for spring break next week, and we are very excited about that. We have tickets to Sight and Sound, and the Strasberg Railroad.   Food has been going down well.  Maybe a little too well . But I have come to the conclusion after my second dumping episode that I can handle small amounts of sugar and small amounts of fat, but I CAN NOT handle anything that contains both. Which truth be told, I am happy about. I like having to be careful.

Hi Kristen, you are so right about it being quiet here lately.  Great idea for a post topic.  I have been really preoccupied with my decisions about health insurance, surgeons, and surgeries-choosing each.  I think I have arrived at all three decisions but I was stressed.  After April 1st I will have Aetna.  I have a call in to see Dr VonReuden again and also Dr.Schweitzer.  I spent most of yesterday on OH and on the phone talking to my friend Jeff who had RNy from DVR 2 mos ago and has been doing really well with it.  Today I had to catch up on my "stuff" like checkbook and bills, dishes, laundry, calls to family members, email, and of course OH.  My nephew turns two next week and I'm looking forward to his b-day party.  He calls me "An jeh di fuh" (aka Aunt Jennifer.)

Hi Kristen, thanks for the great thread.  Well, I will be three weeks out on Wednesday and I have lost 25 pounds so far.  I'm doing great with my proteins, but struggling getting in my water.  Now that I am on the pureed phase, and I have to wait the 30 min before and after I eat to drink, it seems like there aren't enought hours in the day to get in all my water.  I'm sure it will get easier with time.  I have been walking at home...my six year old son Memphis has been reminding me every two hours to take a walk.  Today I finally went back to the gym though, and it seemed so much easier to walk there then at home.  I was actually able to walk 45 minutes between 2-3 mph.  I was shocked...I wasn't even that winded...just my legs felt like jello after I finished.  Other than that things are great,my husband and son have been so supportive, and we can't wait til summer vacation.

Hi Kristen, I'm silent because I don't get to the board as often as I would like anymore.  In addition to school these days, I've been taking taking Tae Kwon Do lessons (3 days/ wk) for the last three weeks!!  It's a blast and I'm loving it!!  It's also great exercise!!  I haven't seen them yet but I had some pics taken of me in my uniform and will post one soon. --Eric
