update to UPDATE: GYN APPT
I thougt Mondays visit with GYN was bad enough but this even tops that one.
She called my home yesterday and left a message with my mother to have me call her today.
I called at 9: 35 the office opens at 9:30 and the recording was on that the office was closed and do not leave a message as noone would be monitering the machine. Ok so I call back at 9:50
the Dr had " stepped out of the office and would call me back" well now its 2:30 pm and she
just called. "Did I call you about something specific? " I said I don't know you left a message
for me to call, she then said " maybe it was a pap smear result ; did you have one recently?"
I said No it was back in October and you said everything was fine.: Now If you were a Dr.
calling a patient would you not have their file in front of you??????
She then asked when did I see you last: I said Monday. She said what did we talk about?
I gave her the lowdown on her suggesting complete hyst. She said "Oh I can remove the cyst but it would have to be done open." I said I am not prepared for that and would think about it and let her know.
I'm just so angry and pissed off I cann't see straight. She has upset my parents who have been bugging me all day " What did the Dr say?"
I just needed to vent: I have made my decision to change Dr's and this phone conversation just
confirms in my mind that that is the right decision.
Does this woman not know what damage she can do to peoples self esteem> I'm almost glad
she didn't have the file in front of her because I know she would have commented on my weight again.
Every other Dr I have seen since July has told me I am doing great and too keep it up.
This woman apparently enjoys putting people down. Well I refuse to be treated like this.
I am preparing a fax requesting my records be released to me .
