Dr.Averbach

hello..i would like 2 know if any of Dr. Averbachs patients would give me any info.on him such as personality,availability,compasion and what type of diet he recomends or requires of his patients.i will see hime for the first time in less than 2 weeks.i was banded almost 3 yrs ago and because of the distance i live from my wl surgeon i have found it hard 2 maintain my fills so i decided to find a doctor closer 2 home. thanks kim

Hi Kimberly,  I just sent you a message with my info in it. I would love to talk to you unfortuneatly I have a crazy schedule and I am not online all the time and I have to run now to the Drs since wed. I was at my Drs and he called an ambulance  for me. I have some heart issues so I have a lot of follow up right now but I know I am ok  so please call me or something and we can talk.  The phone is easiest for me call anytime or send your number if you want me to call you. Hi Kim - Although I don't have any firsthand knowledge of Dr. A, I've heard nothing but wonderful things about him.  Terry M. is a perfect example of his skill, compassion and knowledge.  Unfortunately, I doubt she'll have time to respond since she's busy planning a wedding, awaiting the birth of her niece in several months, trying to sell two houses and buy one!!!  She's a busy lady, but I know she thinks highly of him. Dr. Averbach is my surgeon.  I like him.  He answered all of my questions and took very good care of me during and after my surgery.  He informed my family of the results while I was in recovery and answered all of my husband's questions.  When we were discussing LapBand surgery, he did suggest that I talk to others that had the LapBand so I would know what to expect. He did not require a preop liquid diet for me.  He seems quiet, but like I said, he did answer all of my questions.  Anytime I've had an issue and called the office, someone always helps me.
