He's Home!
Good morning!!! Whew what a day or 24 hours I should say I have had. It has been wonderful and exhausting. We made it to the hospital despite the morning traffic. We went through the final discharge education and loaded LP up in my car. We brought the little sweetie home by noon. He had a good first day at home. He was visited and loved by both grandma's, his uncle Geoff (my youngest), his grandfather, and a few other close family members. I stayed the night with them for the first night. The other grandma will stay today and tonight. I must say I am so tired.
I had to get up this morning and drive home without coffee so I could let my dogs out. I treid to get my youngest to stay here at the house for me, but he wasn't buying it. Anyway, here I sit with a very strong cup of coffee.
My son doesn't sleep much at night and he was also so excited to have his son at home. He woke me about every 15 minutes to ask me a question or note an observation. He tried very hard last ngiht to be a good daddy. I think he did a pretty good job for the first night with some burping and changing help from grandma Aime.
I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

It's wonderful that he's home! LP is one very loved and treasured little one and I look forward to hearing his progress as he grows up.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Awwww Aime I am so happy for you and your family. I love the pictures of LP. He is just so cute and so tiny. Glad his Daddy is trying really hard to be such a good daddy.
Congrats to you all.
hugs,
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
