Today is the day!!!!
This morning I will take my son and dil to bring home their son from the hospital. We all spent the evening at the hospital preparing for his homecoming learning infant cpr, bathing, and so many other things. My son bathed his son for the first time. He did it as I imagine most first time parents. A little clumsy, but he was able to get him washed and dressed.
I think I saw a young father blossoming as he cared for his child. I will post some homecoming pictures as I get them.
4 lbs 14.4 ounces last night!

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Aime,
Congradualtions and hope you have the bst day today. I know it is a memorable moment for all of your family including proud parents. Hope your DIL is better and also saw the gorgeous pictures. PLease sned us more when you get a chance. With seeing these infant pictures, one would remmeber their own moments with their baby in hospital. (Sigh!) time flies by so fast!
