Fat Tuesday and tomorrow's my day
Well, tomorrow is it. I'm nervous, excited, scared and a little questioning. I keep asking myself am I doing the right thing? Is it right for me to put myself at risk and risk my family losing their mother/wife? I know I made the right decision, because it will prolong my life, but I still have the what ifs in te back of my mind. I just wante thank all of my OH family here on line...even though I haven't met you, I feel like we're old friends, so thakns, and I'll be sure to post as sson as I'm home.
Hi Sandi! I think that it's normal and natural to have a whole bag of emotions on the eve before surgery. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Dr. Moein is an excellent doctor and you will be in wonderful hands!

Hi, Sandi. I met you at the pre-op class. My surgery has come and gone and those very thoughts were going throught my mind even on the OR table. Dr. Moein removed my drain. He is a gentle, caring dr. You will do great. Try to relax and think of the positive things of the future and things will go just fine. My thoughts will be with you.
((( Sandi )))
Best wishes for an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery!
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
