any info needed for St Agnes support group

Does anyone know about the meetings at St Agnes? I had my surgery at Bayview, but it's so far to go and I would like to attend a support group closer to home. I live in the Catonsville, Ellicott City area.

Dr. Von Rueden from GBMC will be working there as of March I spoke to the bariatric coordinator Cathy and forgot to ask her about the support meetings. Here is the number call and ask. 410-368-2384

Hi Linda, The Glen Burnie meetings will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month. From 6 to 6:30 there will be sort of a 'social' time to chit chat and give everyone a chance to arrive, then the meeting with topic will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Hope to see you there next time. Hugs, Mo

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

Hi Linda, Slight revision to my previous post. For the time being the GB meetings will be monthly (not twice a month) on the first Monday (except in April will be the 2nd Tuesday). Lap Band on 01/16/08

The first Wednesday of the month is the support group for Gastric Bypass & The third Wednesday of the month is the support group for Lap Band They are both from 6:00 - 7:00 pm

I am sorry I am so rushed but I need to be at the trainers to work out at 7am but I wanted to leave you this website. It is Dr Averbachs at St Agnes.It has the support groups listed.
