That sounds great. I was thinking we can meet up in one of our homes and scrapbook, eat and chat for a few hours maybe once a month or everyother week.  lol

I am so glad everyone had a good time .  I was doing a google on Great Scraps and  one of the sites it picked up on was this posting LOL. I am thinking of going back for a crop session later this month on a saturday or sunday. I think I am in big trouble.  Ebay here I come LOL.  So far I need an alblum for my nieces weddings pics and an alblum for my parents 60th anniversary which is in June. I am trying to think of a way to take the SDU classes.  They are on sunday afternoons and I would have to miss church to make the 12:30 start time :  either that on get to early service at 8:15  and then go over to Millersville.  Maybe I will wait till next session . All I know is I have got the bug LOL   Darla

Darla,  You are not the only one with the bug!!  LOL I was trying to figure out about taking the SDU classes too but I don't want to end up having the baby and misses the classes.  I got an email and it said something about online classes unless I read it wrong, I was thinking of calling great scraps and asking about it.  But I am sure hands on is better.  I will be waiting for the next session too.   Also I wanted to go to the crop till you drop but I don't think I can sit there for 4 hours especially how uncomfortable I have been feeling for the past couple of days. I better wait till this little chickie is out. lol In the meantime we can always meet up here at my house for some scraping, lunch and chatting.  Something to think about.  :-) Oh i forgot to mention the albums at great scraps are better than the ones I have I was disappointed because my pages from Saturday does not fit in my front loader album. The pages are not the ones that can be taken out and put in.  So I also need to buy some albums.  I definitely need a job to support this very expensive but fun hobby!  lol Hugs,

I am ALMOST a convert!   I think I might like to do some pages but not sure I'll become a fanatic about this scrapping thing!   I have to divest my house of some other past hobbies first! But I do love the idea of getting together for some social time and scrapping. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

I was feeling bad last night so I thought that maybe making a couple pages would help: I used up all my glue in the little thing I bought Saturday. LOL I made 4 pages of greeting cards I got post op: I made a page with the letter DVR sent to my PCP and I made a page of my certificate I got when I completed my Pulminary  physical therapy. I never did get around to making  the pages of my before and after photos LOL Anyway I think scrapping can be therapudic too.  Two hours just flew by last night and I would have continued if I had not run out of the glue LOL. It helped me forget my trouble for a while:  and let me "relive" the last few months again.  WLS is truly wonderful ( I DON'T CARE WHAT OPRAH SAYS)

Hey, I'm a scrap addict........can I come next time?  BTW: I am a long term post op who pops in every now and then, but find I do better with maintaining my 100+ pound loss when I check in here regularly...so, that is my New Year's Resolution.
