OT: Free to good home

I am looking for a good home for a cat I have.  She is an awesome cat so I really want her happy and settled into a permanent home as quickly as possible.  

Reecie Piece is a 3 ½ year old dilute calico Persian.  She is current with all shots and is spayed.  Reecie was a kitten of one of my cats and was given back to me as one of her family members became allergic to dogs and cats.  I had planned to keep her but she “terrorizes” 2 of my other cats.  She is for adoption to a cat home where she would be the only cat.  She has gotten along with dogs fine.  She is very sweet, loving and affectionate and deserves to be in a very good home.  She is also very social, wants to be where you are and will jump up in your lap to snuggle..  Persians aren’t just pretty faces or ordinary cats, they do require to be brushed regularly and love a lot of attention, so please keep this in mind if you consider her.

Aww, good luck finding a good home for her. I had a calico when I was in college. Her name was Callie, hence my screen name here. She was so cute and sweet. My stupid roommate in a drunken stooper let Callie out of the house and she was run over. I oh so wish I could take Reecie, but my husband is deathly allergic. I miss cats!! Amy

Aime, I wi**** were different with the one cat home, but thats the reason I need to find her another home. Since she has come here, she wants to be the alpha cat and seriously fights with 2 of the other more submissive ones.  I have to keep them separated.  Its a constant struggle.  Putting her with another cat I am afraid she would do the same thing as she does here and I want wherever she goes to be her last home.  She deserves a good person to snuggle with.  She is such a sweetheart. If you know of anyone, please let me know :)

Hi Teri,  I wish I could help you, but I totally understand that she needs to be the only cat.  I have two already, and they are very "catty" for lack of a better word, LOL!  They would not want to share their domain with another cat.  Did you also post this on the main board?  Good luck. 

No, I havent posted it on the main board, though Ive thought about it.  I really would like for her to be somewhat local so that I will know where she is going.  I should probably post on Virginia and Delaware though...

How about posting it at a pet exchange group online.  I am a member for the Anne Arundel pet exchange can you look up to see if there is one for your county?
