medication question

does anyone who takes anti anxiety meds still break them open and mix with something. My GP said that maybe my meds are not doing all they should because I swallow the capsule whole. I cannot take it any other way. I also swallow Antigall whole. I am 4 months out.

Hi Gail - Ever since I got the ok from DVR to swallow pills, I went back to doing so.  If your med is XR (extended release), that may be the problem, given our malabsorption issues.  It also may be that you just need the dosage increased.  My Effexor seemed to stop working as effectively after a while, but an adjustment helped.
