Update - Gloriajd is on the Loser's Bench!!
I had an appt at GBMC comp today, so I stopped in to see Gloria after her surgery with DVR. Her surgery was early this morning, so when I got to the unit around 4:15pm, she was just arriving from recovery. She was semi-awake and semi-alert. She may not even remember me being there.
But, anyway, she made it through surgery with no complications (according to the nursing staff). So, I'm sure she'll post in a few days.

Thanks so much for the update Taya. I was wondering if I should stop over and see her in the morning. I don't want to intrude, but I know she doesn't live close, and wouldn't have visitors. Perhaps I'll call to get an update, and just check and see if she needs anything or wants company for a few minutes.
Darla stopped by to see me when I was brought up to my room. She is such a trooper, since it snowed that day! I do remember her being there, but barely, lol. That anesthesia really takes a lot out of ya.
Hugs!

Yay!!! Gloria is a loser!!!
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
