I got my surgery date!

I think I'm going to throw up!! I am excited and scared. I hope I can get the time off work! The date is February 14. Much sooner then I anticipated. I was hoping for March since I have to be away for a business trip the last week in February. Say a prayer for me!

Congrats, Roxanne!! That is so exciting. I just got my surgery date today, too. March 5th for me... wanna switch dates? (I've been waiting since December when I was approved to get a surgery date LOL and I would much rather have mine sooner rather than later but oh well) I'm sure everything will go great for you... so close to having a new lease on life!

Congratulations to you also! Which procedure are you having done? I'm am trying to have my surgery moved to around the same time yours is. I just don't want to be in Charleston sucking on shakes. I also don't want to be that far away just in case there are any issues.

Thanks! I'm having the gastric bypass procedure. I'm sure your surgeon's office (or at least I'd think they would) will help you change your surgery date to better suit your travel schedule. Best of luck and keep us updated!!

They did change it, the new date is March 3. I feel better knowing I'm closer if there were any issues. Thanks!

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
