Dr Alex Gandsas
I also had Dr. Gandsas - he did my RNY. I found him quiet and reserved which is fine with me. I have not had a single complication (I'm knocking on wood right now as I type) so I have not had experience trying to get in touch with him outside of appointment times. Nancy is his NUT and I have e-mailed her if I had any questions or concerns and she has always responded almost immediately - quicker then the phone! Remember to write down any questions that you might have before your appt. so that you don't forget and the best of luck to you!

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
Dr G is da bomb. 4 1/2 months out and no complications at all. He can get a little behind at appointment time so make sure you give yourself extra time. Part of the problem the past few months was that Dr. Li was out but I'm pretty sure she is back so hopefully things have calmed down.
Good luck!
Ted
P.S. Ask to drive the robot - I'm all about the robot.
