I don't need no stinking spandex!
Well, it happened. I finally bought a pair of jeans that contained ZERO spandex. I bought a pair of size 10 Levis at Goodwill this week. They had the original tags and I bought them for 3.50. I could not believe that they fit. I mean, I have been wearing a 10 but they all have a little bit of spandex in them, you know just for a little give. But these are great. My husband said they looked "hot" and the bonus was I could actually bend, stretch and breathe.
It is just great since I started this journey as a size30/32 and EVERYTHING had some kind of stretchy something in it.
Awesome !!!! Best wishes as the journey continues.
Hugs, Mo
Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
I refuse to wear spandex except for exercise clothes and those undies that hold you in!! Even my size 28 pants are plain ol' unstretchy fabric. I don't even particularly like elastic waists (though those are harder to avoid).
But, congratulations!!!!! I'd be jumping up and down about a size 10. That's about where I hope to end up.
