Happy Monday!

Hi Kath - Thanks for offering to chop him up if he doesn't behave himself.  He knew I was sick last night, and while I wish he would've called, he did text me to say goodnight, sweet dreams!!  He's not one for talking on the phone, and I AM a talker (like you didn't know that!), so we're going to have to meet in the middle on that one.  Unfortunately, past experiences have made me a bit paranoid and I struggled not to think, "OMG! He hates me!" if he doesn't call!!  But if he does hurt me, and I know where he lives and works - one and the same, so yeah, we can find him!!!! It's official - I'm sick.  My voice is raspy and just about gone and I have to say that I actually do feel as bad as I sound.  It doesn't help that my office is about 10K degrees, I've got a window open and a fan on.  Not really good medicine for a cold!!!!  I think that's all it is, but boy, has it settled in my chest.  I'm popping Mucinex and Tylenol and trying to drink lots of water, so hopefully, I'll have it licked soon! Hope you have a good rest of the week.  Tomorrow's my last day for the week and I have the party on Friday, so I'll be running around like a chicken with my head cut off!!! Tia

Thanks, Kath!!!  My co-workers, probably afraid they were gonna get it or find me passed out, forced me to go to our staff doc.  They put me on antibiotics and told me to drink fluids and REST!!!! REST!!!! HAHAHAA!!!!!  THAT'S A GOOD ONE!!! Just waiting now for Giant to fill my script!!!  In my 20+ years on the job, I've NEVER utilized our staff doc, always felt like it should be for the Troopers, not the civilians, but they were happy to help!!
