Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

YEAH! Congrats. I remember how good that approval feels. Fasten your seatbelt, time is about to fly by. There is a nice comfortable seat awaiting you on the losers bench. Ellie and Jennifer, your time is coming, I just know it!!

Congratulations! I am a patient of Dr. Singh's also and my surgery is two weeks away! I thought the day would never come when I started this journey six months ago. And now, here it is almost here. Started the liquid phase yesterday and so far so good. Hope I can still say that this time next week. Keep us posted as to your surgery date. Deb

I've been very pleased with Dr. Singh although my journey is just beginning. I believe I was approved in early to mid November and had a date about 4 weeks later but that was my choice. Let me add also - I went to my first support group meeting last week and was pleasantly surprised.

I got my approval and the date for my surgery was given to me the same day. Unfortunately I was hoping for a January date but Dr. Singh was booked so I am scheduled for the 5th of Feb.

well i got approved on the 21st and i am still waiting for a surgey date. I was hoping it will be in the month of Febuary, but to look at how things are going. I dont know. but i am being patient for a change.

Patience pays off here, because you have conquered your biggest hurdle TO DATE and got approved. I was very impatient with the approval process. I thank God that I had my friends here to vent with! But, once that was behind me, a great relief brought me patience to wait for my date, and then for the date to arrive.
