Hi Everyone, I hope everyone is doing great! I know I've been kinda MIA lately. I've moved at work and not always able to log in to the website at work. Life's been very busy (but great) outside of work. I've got big news to share...the latest in a long line of WOW Moments following WLS Surgery. Me, the one who never thought she'd be saying this in a million years...well... I'M ENGAGED!!! Mark popped the question Friday night after slipping the ring of my dreams on my left ring finger. So for those of you who are hurting and wondering "should I have weight loss surgery, is it worth the risk, etc.". I say do your research and then do what's best for you (but don't let fear paralyze you). After losing 140lbs, meeting the man of my dreams and now facing marriage...life just keeps getting better and better!! I'm going to try to paste a pic of my ring here, hopefully it'll work. If not, I may have to change my avatar.

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
