My surgeon told me I can not take any extended release meds because it will not work.
My surgeon put me on prevacid. Which dr changed your RX your pcp or surgeon?
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.
Cira 249/144.0 current/goal 154/ 5'3" 10 lbs below my Dr's goal
I have continuing problems with my pouch/esophagus and my surgeon had me on protonix (which really was the best thing for me ..) but of course the prescription company (CAREMARK) knows better than the doctor and kept denying my refills. Now I use Prilosec OTC daily.
Cira is right tho, if it was your PCP who changed it, make sure that it is ok with your surgeon. Your surgeon may need to justify to your precription provider why protonix is necessary. We went that route a couple of times.

Comparison is the thief of joy!
If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!
