I bought these from "the snack factory". I was eating my tuna on them. I find myself eating way too many of them. I am committing to all of you that I will not buy these anymore. I can see me slipping into old behaviors with them.

You don't have to deprive yourself from having them.  I do suggest you only take the serving size in a small snack sick size zip lock bag with you so when it is finished you have no choice but to be done with it.   Hugs,

good idea Cira. I will try that and leave the bag at home. Then, if I start to eat them at home I will cut them out of my food plan.

Separate all of it now.  Just remember that when you are done with that snack bag you are done. Have a protein snack if you feel you need to much on something else. Like string cheese.  :-) The good thing about it is that you have realized it and you are doing something about it.   So that is awesome in it self!  Give yourself some credit girl!

You know, I think pretzels in any form are addictive, I kinda feel that they are the only "junk food," that I can eat without feeling too guilty.  I agree with Cira, I should do it, just so I know when I am done.

Gail - Part of the battle is recognizing a trigger and trying to deal with it.  Don't be too hard on yourself.  The portion idea is great - do whatever it takes!!!! Tia

Gail, I've had good luck with Kay's Naturals Better Balance snacks and cereals.  You can get them in some of the health food stores, but I just order online at www.kaysnaturals.com.  Check out the different snacks crisps, pretzels and cereal.  I  was clued in to these at a Johns Hopkins support group meeting I attended when I was still in the "deciding" phase.
