Grandson update!!!

I woke this morning to a message on my computer screen from my son. Mt Washington has removed the feeding tube from the baby. He is expected to be able to come home in 2 weeks. He can eat all of his feedings by bottle now. All he needs to do is maintain his body temperature!!!!

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished. Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago. I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits! Wherever you are in your journey ... It's ALL good!!!

Aime, That is wonderful news. Sounds like he is moving right along. I have been at the hospital with my niece for most of the past six days. She had a baby boy, two months early, last Friday. He was 3 lbs 9 oz's. He is doing well. He had a vent for about two days. He has lost down to 3 lbs 4 oz's now, but they took him off the lights for jaundice last night. She had a few issues herself and they were going to release her yesterday but she started running a fever. I have not heard from her yet today. I think I got a cold or the flu from being in there so much. Gotta love hospitals. So, I am staying away for now. Keep us updated. Wanda

Thanks Tia, My niece came home yesterday and my new nephew, Joshua is doing well. They said he should be able to come home in about four weeks if he keeps going like he is. Wanda
