Thanks Patrick for getting us organized with a Glen Burnie support meeting.   It was great to meet everyone tonight and I look forward to the next one.   I'm going to mark the first and third Tuesdays on my calendar to keep me on track. Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

I will try to make it one of these days.  It's tough.  I work in DC on Tuesdays and Thursdays and have to pick up my daughter in Crownsville by 6 p.m.  I can't leave the office before 4.  Tuesdays and Thursdays are always crazy for me.  Hopefully I can swing it one of these days.

Hi Edie, I hope you can make it!    The plan (to see how it works) is that from 6 to 6:30 we can socialize and chit chat, that way at from 6:30 to 8 we can settle down and concentrate on the meeting topics without individual conversations going on.   By not starting the meeting itself until 6:30 it should give some folks who might have a problem getting there by 6 a chance to get there. Meetings will be on the first and third Tuesdays! The location is great too for anyone who might not live right there in Glen Burnie or A A County, but have access to 695, because it's right off the Ferndale exit. Hugs, Mo
