Finally hit the 100

I am happy to report I finally hit the 100 pounds lost mark.  It seemed like I would never get there. It was a lot easier for me the first six months. After that I've had to work harder. I can eat anything and at times have. I just can't eat very much at a time. A blessing and a curse.  I want to thank everyone here for being such a good support system. It's nice to have a place to go. Wanda

Oh, Wanda - joy, joy, joy!!!!  I well remember the feeling of losing 100 pounds!!  Truly an accomplishment!!! How I wish I could get those first six months back!!!  I worked really hard, even though it seemed like no matter what I did, the weight melted off.  Oh for those days again.  As you can see, you can still lose the weight, but yes, we have to work harder now. But you did it and you can continue to do it - we're behind you all the way! Tia

Wanda, Your post gives me much hope. I have stopped losing quickly. I am 3 1/2 mos out and feel like I can eat anything. I think after losing so quickly in the beginning you start to feel like you will never reach goal when the weight come off slower. Thanks for posting this.

Congratulations Wanda!!!!! I am so happy for you!  You are right those first 6 months are easy and you are lucky to have taken advantage of it.   Me on the other hand I will have this baby on my 1 year mark and so I will not have it easy working to my goal I suspect, although I am happy to report that I have not gain any weight with this pregnancy.   Take care and continue to do great! make sure to post new pictures. Hugs,

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

Hey Wanda, That's awesome!    Hugs, Mo

Comparison is the thief of joy!

If we spend our time comparing our life/weight loss/body to others, we totally miss what WE have accomplished.   Keep in mind how far you have come and what you can do now that you couldn't do weeks/months/years ago.   I hate the expression " It's all good", but in this case it fits!   Wherever you are in your journey  ... It's ALL good!!!

Congrats on this awesome milestone Wanda! You're an inspiration. I don't know about all of you who say this first 6 months is easy, lol. I'd do anything to be past the part where I have to wonder if every bite is going to make me sick! But, I do understand where you are coming from, since my first 6 weeks has resulted in a lightening fast loss. I guess it's a trade off. But, all things considered, I will take the loss and live with the crazy fickle pouch.
Hugs!
Kathy
