hi ruth have you had your sergerie? my mom had paul lynn also. i counted you foe 2. cant weight to meet you. we are having a meeting this wed at smeco buildin in waldorf. and there will be a speaker there. its a suport group. hopefully will see you there. between 6.30 and 7.00. if not see you soon mark the date for that sat. i will add you to my friends list if you would like

Mittens:  I'm pretty new to this site.  I see that you had Dr. Brody too.  I have a question about the support meeting.  Is it a support meeting for lap band patients?  Have you gone to the support meeting at GW?  I would love to talk to you more about the meetings... I'll see if I can make the lunch.  I live in Waldorf and Lonestar is right around the corner.  I'll let you know.

HI THE SUPORT GROUP IS FOR EVERYONE.THIS TIME THERE IS GONA BE A SPEAKER. WHEN DID YOU HAVE YOUR SERGERY? MINE WAS 2 YEARS AGO. WELL I HOPE YOU CAN MAKE IT TO THE MEETING I WOULD LOVE TO SPEAK TO YOU ALSO.

I had my surgery on April 30, 2007.  I have done pretty well so far (down 78 pounds), but I am currently at a plateau.  I will try to make the meeting.  It sounds pretty good.  Have you attended the support meeting at GW?  They have them the first Wednesday of every month.  I told Kelly (Dr. Brody's nurse practitioner) that I would try to make one.  If I don't make this meeting, I will try to make the next one.  Who is the speaker?  What can I expect at one of these meetings?
